Simone Proctor
Simone serves as the new Ministry Administrator for BCMW, supporting its mission of equipping the global Church through the faithful teaching and application of God’s Word. Having lived and ministered across cultures, she has a heart for serving in diverse cultural contexts and for seeing the unchanging truth of Scripture transform lives, particularly among unreached and unengaged people groups.

Born and raised in Germany, Simone married her husband, Steve, while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force. After various military assignments, they had the opportunity to settle in Alaska, where Steve served with the Alaska Air National Guard.
After the Lord graciously saved Simone, He cultivated in her a deep love for His Word, His Church, and the proclamation of the gospel. During their eighteen years in Alaska, while homeschooling their children, Simone worked and served in both nonprofit and ministry.
Following Steve’s military retirement, the Proctor family followed God’s leading to Tennessee. As she served in various ministries within the local church, Simone saw the growing need for counseling and developed an increasing conviction of the sufficiency of Scripture for soul care, leading her from secular psychology to biblical counseling. She is completing both a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling and a Master of Arts in Missiology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary this fall.
Simone and Steve love spending time with their family – including their daughter Amy Faye, son-in-law Cade, twin granddaughters Evie and Emmy, daughter Lily Mae, and son Hendrik. Together, they enjoy exploring God’s creation through outdoor adventures and learning from the people and cultures they encounter through ministry.
