Diego & Michele dos Santos

Diego, 42, has a degree in Theology with an emphasis on Pastoral Ministry from the Word of Life Biblical Seminary, which he received in 2009. In 2019, he gained a specialist degree in Practical Theology from the Andrew Jumper Presbyterian Graduate Center.

He was ordained to pastoral ministry by the First Baptist Church of Vitória-ES in 2010. In addition to his pastoral training, Diego attended
biblical counseling training offered by BCMW, completing all 4 modules of the Church Leadership Training (CLT) program. He has used biblical counseling principles since the beginning of his pastoral ministry, having learned about biblical counseling while still an undergraduate. He is currently the presiding pastor of First Baptist Church in Canela-RS, in the Serra Gaúcha, where he has served for five years.

Diego is married to Michele (40) and father to two children, Kristal (12) and Elis (5). Throughout his years of ministry he has
worked, together with his wife, in couples counseling for pastors, leaders and church members, applying the principles of biblical counseling, rooted in the sufficiency of Scripture.
