As a way to further our vision and mission, BCMW has been committed to providing resources for students in Church Leadership Training programs and Graduate Programs in their native languages.
In-Class Interpreters
BCMW has sought to foster learning for all of our students in a way that will most encourage attention and retention. One of the means that has long been utilized is the live translation, as needed, of class teaching and course lectures.
Class Notes and Materials
Another way we have desired to encourage long-term student engagement and involvement is through translation of every PowerPoint presentation, many curriculum notes, and all student notes from English into the language of the country or region in which a given course was being held. Local pastors and other translators have spent countless hours and significant energy serving the Lord’s people with these wonderful resources. To date, these course materials have been translated into many languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Thai.
Through this simple means, BCMW and our national partners are able to provide for Biblical counseling students, including pastors, elders, and other church leaders, support in their desire and work to become wise, compassionate, and humble caretakers of souls. Students have the ability to review course material between modules or classes through these translated curriculum resources so they can maintain growth in biblical understanding and wisdom.
Books and Other Resources
Along with providing comprehensive translated notes for students of CLT and Graduate Program classes, BCMW has also supported and assisted with translation of a variety of Biblical counseling books, including Paul David Tripp’s Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands, and other similar resources.
